What is Form 16?

Form 16 is the most-known TDS certificate. Issued annually by 15 June for the previous financial year. Has Part A (TDS deducted, deposited) and Part B (salary breakup, deductions, taxable salary). Used to file salaried ITR.

Who needs Form 16?

Every salaried employee.
