Digital Signature Certificate

Digital equivalent of a handwritten signature, mandatory for MCA / GST / IT e-filings.

What is DSC?

A DSC is a cryptographic certificate issued by a CCA-licensed Certifying Authority (eMudhra, Sify, NSDL). Class-3 DSCs are required for all government e-filings. Stored on a FIPS-compliant USB token, valid 1-3 years.

Who needs DSC?

Every director, designated partner, authorised signatory, professional (CA, CS, advocate) filing on MCA / GST / IT portals.
